The Void Court

Where shadow breathes and silence reigns.

The Void Court exists in perpetual night — starless, moonless, but strangely peaceful. A stillness you feel in your bones. Tall arched windows reveal the endless darkness outside, and gas-lit gardens glow between towering Shadowbell bushes whose bell-shaped blossoms pulse with soft violet light. Stone paths wind through Nightshade Rose bushes — black-purple petals, silver thorns — catching lamplight like a heartbeat.

At its heart stands the Obsidian Library, a cathedral of knowledge with two-story shelves of ancient tomes, rolling ladders gleaming in low light, and a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass framed in black-forged iron. A massive Bog Oak desk dominates the raised platform, rarer than gold, sourced from the Dreadmarsh. Above, thin silver-threaded markings crawl across the ornate ceiling beneath a dome-shaped skylight that reveals only darkness.

The Void Court is home to the Obsidian Fang — an elite group of warriors, real precise and real deadly. They are Draven's inner circle, his family forged in loyalty rather than blood.

The Void Mark

Every member of the Void Court bears the Void Mark — a rune tattooed on the inner left forearm. It is more than ink. It connects the bearer to the High Crown's protection, pulses in response to emotion and proximity, and cannot be faked. It is a bond of trust, freely given and freely accepted.
